2024 Sauvignon Blanc
Tasting notes
Opens with enticing guava, grapefruit, white peach, and key lime cream. The palate is crisp and refreshing, with juicy peach, lime, and a subtle sea salt. Tangy acidity balances a rich body and a long, clean finish.
Harvested 8/26/24 at 24.7 Brix, the Monarch Mine vineyard has two clones, 01 and Musque. Each lot was whole-cluster pressed separately, settled for 24 hours, then racked off the gross lees. The juice was cold fermented for 5 weeks at 58°F.
