2021 Syrah
90 Points, Wine Enthusiast
Tasting notes
Rich aromas of blueberry, briar fruit, chocolate, leather, and floral notes intertwine with hints of smoked meat and dried herbs. Deep and layered, with savory elements alongside dark fruit and spice. The velvety finish is framed by rounded tannin
Production notes
The Damiano portion of this blend, which makes up 46% of the blend, was cold soaked for 5 days and then had 10% bleed off to concentrate color and structure. The remaining lots were whole berry fermented for 10-15 days.
