Dark cherry, blackberry, espresso, and a touch of vanilla lead on the nose. The palate is rich and full-bodied, layered with blueberry, sage, and chocolate. Firm tannins are balanced by lively acidity, giving depth and structure.
Harvested on August 27th at 25.45 brix, de-stemmed and hand sorted. Once fermentation had begun, daily pump-overs were performed until dry. 16 days on its skin.
