2023 Cabernet Franc
Double Gold & Best of Region, FWFC
93 Points & Hidden Gem, Wine Enthusiast
Tasting notes
Aromas of currant, blueberry, turned earth, and oak spice lead into a smooth, expressive palate. Velvety tannins frame ripe berries and cocoa, carrying through to a long, graceful finish with subtle savory depth.
Production notes
Hand-harvested at 24.8 °Brix, the fruit was sorted, destemmed, and cold-soaked for four days. Fermented with twice-daily pump-overs, it was pressed dry and aged in barrel
