2022 Espion

Tasting notes
Fragrant notes of chocolate, blackberry, boysenberry, and plum are lifted by a hint of dried violets. The palate is layered with toasted oak, ripe plum, bright berry fruit, and dried herbs, carried by lively acidity and a clean, balanced finish.
Production notes
Destemmed and cold-soaked for 3–5 days, with 5% saignée to enhance color and tannin. Fermented with twice-daily pump-overs and periodic délestage, then left on skins for 14–28 days.
